Crivens is a large modern country house set in the beautiful open countryside of the Scottish Borders yet is also conveniently close to Edinburgh with its excellent range of museums, galleries and restaurants.

Accommodation and facilities

Crivens offers a warm welcome and up to date facilities within spacious and comfortable accommodation decorated in a modern country style. All the rooms are individually decorated and furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities.

There are 2 large and comfortable bedrooms available. Both have their own bathroom one of which has a large double ended bath as well as a separate shower cubicle. There is a third large room available should family groups or parties be happy to share a bathroom.

The guest lounge offers a place to relax and kick back with large comfortable leather sofas. Here you will find a large plasma TV with Sky, Wii and an X-Box are available for guests use.

Food

We use locally sourced, quality produce and have a thriving troop of happy hens who provide delicious eggs for the breakfast table. Marge lays beautiful blue eggs that are lovely for dunking your soldiers in.

We can provide delicious home cooked evening meals with advanced notice and will happily make up a hamper of local delicacies for picnics should you wish. Pies and pasties are a particular speciality here at Crivens.
